The City of Bothell Municipal Court is one of the newer courthouses in the area. The single courtroom, doubles as a meeting room for the Bothell City Council. The courthouse is located in downtown Bothell just North of the Bothell Public Safety Building (Bothell Police Department), just East of the Main Street Bothell and minutes from I-405 and Highway 522. The disadvantage of a huge courtroom is that it can hold a lot of people. Expect to spend several hours in court (a little less with a private attorney).
The City of Bothell is in two counties; Snohomish COunty and King County. This creates a unique situation, because criminal cases may only have jurors from the county the crime occurred in. To remedy this the court has seperate jury trial calls for incidents that occurred in the King COunty and Snohomish County areas of Bothell.
